Access and Logistics

Where are your services available, and are all appointments virtual?
Yes, all our services are delivered via secure telehealth appointments, meaning you can access expert psychiatric, therapeutic, and integrated primary care from the comfort of your home or office. We currently provide services statewide across Florida. Our virtual model ensures convenience, privacy, and seamless continuity of care, making high-quality wellness support accessible regardless of your location within the state.

TPT Wellness offers both in-network insurance options and self-pay services. Currently, Erin Sharp is in-network with Aetna and Cigna, and Kevin Biemuller is in-network with Aetna, Optum, and UnitedHealthcare.

If your plan allows out-of-network benefits, you may also choose to use those benefits for services provided by TPT Wellness. Coverage and reimbursement for out-of-network services vary by plan, and our team is happy to help review your benefits so you can make an informed decision.

For clients who prefer additional flexibility or privacy, we also offer self-pay options. Our goal is to make care accessible while maintaining a high level of personalized, high-quality support.

Clinical Treatment & Conditions

Both are vital parts of our integrated approach. Medication Management involves a psychiatric specialist prescribing and monitoring psychotropic medications (like antidepressants, mood stabilizers, or stimulants) to address biological and chemical imbalances. Therapy/Counseling involves working with a licensed therapist to develop coping skills, process trauma, change negative thought patterns (e.g., CBT), and address behavioral issues. We often recommend using both approaches simultaneously for the most comprehensive and effective outcomes.
We treat an extensive range of mental health and substance use disorders. Our most common telehealth conditions include Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Bipolar Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, PTSD, and various Substance Use Disorders (including MAT). Our virtual evaluations ensure accurate diagnosis, allowing us to treat even complex dual-diagnosis presentations effectively.
Treatment length is highly personalized and depends on the condition. For acute issues like Situational Anxiety or Adjustment Disorders, short-term therapy (a few months) may be sufficient. For chronic conditions like MDD or Bipolar Disorder, treatment involves ongoing medication management and long-term supportive therapy to ensure sustained stability. We work with you to define clear, realistic treatment goals and regularly review your progress.

Integrated & Specialized Care

Our integrated model is a core strength. By offering both mental health and primary care via telehealth, we provide holistic oversight. This allows us to monitor physical symptoms that affect mood (like thyroid issues or vitamin deficiencies), address physical side effects of psychiatric medications, and manage stable chronic medical conditions without conflicting prescriptions or communication gaps between providers. Your mind and body care are fully coordinated.
The first step is to schedule a Comprehensive Psychiatric Evaluation. This thorough virtual assessment allows our specialist to gather a detailed history, establish an accurate diagnosis, and collaborate with you on creating your personalized treatment roadmap. You can request an appointment directly through our website or contact our administrative team for assistance.

Prescriptions and Communication

Prescriptions are handled electronically and securely. Our licensed providers will send your prescription directly to your preferred pharmacy in Florida. For controlled substances, we comply strictly with all state and federal telehealth prescribing regulations. We utilize efficient administrative services to manage refills and ensure you receive your necessary medications without interruption.
Yes. We offer specialized Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for substance use disorders, including the use of medications such as Naltrexone and Suboxone (when clinically appropriate and guided by regulatory guidelines). This comprehensive service is provided entirely via Florida telehealth and is integrated with necessary therapy and counseling support for the best path to recovery.
We are not a crisis or emergency service. In the event of a medical emergency, you should call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. For urgent but non-life-threatening clinical matters, established patients can utilize our dedicated patient portal or contact our office line for guidance during regular business hours. We provide resources for local crisis hotlines and resources for after-hours support.
All you need is a reliable internet connection and a private space where you feel comfortable speaking freely. You can use a smartphone, tablet, laptop, or desktop computer. We utilize a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform for all video sessions to ensure your privacy and confidentiality are protected, meeting all Florida telehealth security standards.
Yes, coordination is a cornerstone of our integrated care model. We actively offer coordination with therapists, sponsors, and other providers to ensure everyone involved in your care is aligned. With your permission, our administrative and clinical teams will communicate directly with your external team members to provide continuity and maximize treatment effectiveness.
